Cookies & Similar Technologies
Effective April 27, 2026. This page explains the cookies and similar technologies TechResidential uses, and how to control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" includes web beacons, pixels, local storage, and SDKs that perform similar functions. Cookies can be set by us (first-party) or by a third-party service we embed.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies by purpose. Strictly necessary cookies always run because the site can't function without them. Analytics and functional cookies only run where required consent is given (or, in jurisdictions that don't require consent, by default — you can still opt out at any time).

Anti-abuse (Google reCAPTCHA)
We use Google reCAPTCHA v3 on the consultation form to distinguish humans from bots. reCAPTCHA may set its own cookies and gather hardware/software signals from your browser to compute a risk score. reCAPTCHA is loaded only on pages that contain the form.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and features are useful and where to invest. The cookies below are set by Google on our behalf. We do not include personally identifiable information in the events we send.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3. Managing cookies
- Browser controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and form submission on our site.
- Do Not Track. We honor the GPC (Global Privacy Control) signal where required by law and treat it as an opt-out of non-essential analytics cookies.
- Mobile. iOS and Android allow you to limit ad tracking and reset your advertising identifier in device settings.
4. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or replace third-party tools or change how cookies are used. The "Effective" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
